In 1984, ADP Associates, Inc., an architecture firm, merged with Land Resource Strategies, Inc., a land planning firm. In 1990 this partnership was enhanced with the addition of an interior design firm, Interior Architects, Inc. and later Abitar, Inc. an interiors procurement division. The resulting multi-disciplinary firm is now collectively known as The ADP Group.
The land development consulting division, led by partner Bruce Franklin, with broad experience in all aspects of land planning, community development and governmental review, is able to provide services to obtain development approvals and regulatory permits, as well as investment consultation/evaluation studies for commercial, institutional and residential development.
Our design teams, directed by Javier Suarez, AIA and Robert Town, AIA, work with clients to transform concepts into architectural reality. Full service architectural needs can be met ranging from preliminary feasibility studies through construction documentation and administration. Our licensed interior designers are dedicated to professional planning and design of interior spaces. Services range from basic space planning through full-service interior design, furniture/fixture specification & procurement and installation management. The design teams approach each project with sensitivity to the natural environment , seeking to educate clients on the environmental and life cycle cost benefits of sustainable design. These multiple entities are coordinated by managing partner, Peter Houk who directs the financial administration and business development aspects of the practice and organizes the unique venues within the firm.
The ADP Group staff has grown considerably from 9 employees when the firm was organized to 40 plus employees today. During that same period, firm revenues have grown six-fold through a successful expansion program focusing on client satisfaction through efficient project control and aggressive recruiting of top quality staff.
The combined land planning, architecture and interior design services may be offered to our clients through the ADP Group as a comprehensive package encompassing all the professional services required to provide them with state-of-the-art facilities. Alternatively, the firm's services may be tailored to accomplish specific tasks such as winning approval of a variance request or providing expert testimony.
