The ADP Group provides planning and architectural services for a wide range of developments from historic renovations to high-rise mixed use complexes. We are seeking applicants who are goal oriented, possess good communication skills,are CADD literate and are able to work efficiently in our automated office environment.

Architectural Designer:
We are seeking an applicant with a minimum of seven years experience in architectural design. Projects are typically in the hospitality and resort markets with a strong focus on Country Clubs.

We are interested in candidates with a strong design portfolio, good communication and organizational skills and the ability to positively impact others through design. Team attitude and client listening skills: outstanding hand graphic and verbal skills a must; AutoCAD, Photoshop, Powerpoint and other graphic software skills required.

Working directly with Principals , the successful candidate will participate in marketing campaigns and assist in the development of design and graphic presentations for specific projects. Working with project managers, the candidate will be responsible for development of architectural designs, coordinate related work of multiple disciplines and guide design execution throughout all project phases.

Contract Administrator:
Responsible for administering architect's contract responsibilities in the field during project construction in support of the Project Manager/Principal in Charge. Requires in depth knowledge of construction practices and procedures to enable the candidate to represent the firm's interests during the construction phase of the project. Excellent communication and organizational skills are required as well as a strong project management capabilities. (An understanding of budgets, schedules, contract documents etc.)

Typically has the authority to direct, control and monitor all construction phase related activities. Will entail the coordination and assistance in responding to all addenda, RFI's and change orders. Responsible for incorporation of agreed upon changes into the project documents.

Early participation in the design and construction documentation phases of the projects is encouraged to ensure in depth knowledge of the projects details and design intent. Participation in the firm's QAQC programs for review of standard architectural details and drawing standards for compatibility with field conditions and procedures will further the candidates' success in this position.

Computer literacy mandatory and basic knowledge of AutoCAD a plus.

Architectural or Construction related degrees preferred but not mandatory if field experience is extensive.

Registration preferred, not mandatory

Intern Architect/Graphic Design
Entry level position for a recent graduate/intern with strong graphic, presentation, sketching and drawing skills

We are interested in candidates with a strong design and graphics portfolio. Team attitude, good listening skills, outstanding hand and computer graphic skills are a must. AutoCAD, Photoshop, PowerPoint, VIZ and other graphic software skills required.

Working directly with Principals , Land Planners, Architects , Interior Designers and Project Managers the successful candidate will assist in the development of design and graphic presentations for specific projects. Assistance in competition presentations, proposal development, marketing materials, graphic design and schematic design development and will be a major component of the work scope.

Depending on candidate's career aspirations, the position can be expanded to encompass all areas of architectural practice required for compliance with IDP/ARE.

Bachelor Degree Required, Masters preferred

Expected that candidates would not be registered but would be working towards registration requirements

Production Architect/Senior Architectural Drafter:
Working directly with Architects , Interior Designers and Project Managers the successful candidate will be responsible for the preparation of design development and construction documents, either independently on smaller scale projects or as part of the project team for projects of a greater scope and scale. Candidate will perform architectural assignments under the direction of the design architect or project manager. Assignments will entail development of design concepts and construction details as well as the layout and coordination of the construction documents. An understanding of the relationships between architectural documents and the work of related engineering disciplines will contribute to success in this position. The position requires substantial design development and architectural drawing experience for a wide variety of commercial and institutional projects. We are looking for a minimum of 7 years experience in the production of construction documents. The candidate must have substantial knowledge of production procedures; a thorough knowledge of architectural planning, drafting, detailing, and building materials; and general knowledge of construction methods and building codes.

Architectural or Construction related degrees are preferred but not mandatory if experience is extensive or supplemented by technical training. Computer literacy and extensive knowledge of AutoCAD is mandatory. Experience with ADT 2005 is a major plus as this software is utilized throughout the practice. On going in house training is provided to insure the entire firm maintains a thorough understanding of current software related to the profession.

Project Manager:
We are seeking an applicant with a minimum of ten years experience in architectural project management. Although projects vary in scope, scale, and building type, we are seeking candidates capable of running high rise mixed use or major institutional projects with construction budgets in excess of $50 million. Responsibilities entail administering all phases of the projects through construction. The position has responsibility for budgeting, scheduling, planning, design, specification, construction documents and in some cases, construction administration.

We are interested in candidates with a strong communication and organizational skills and the ability to positively impact others utilizing their leadership skills. Strengths in team building, the ability to listen to clients and effectively lead the project team of staff and consultants are all critical to success in this position.

Candidates must be computer literate and basic knowledge of AutoCAD is a plus. Familiarity with project management software will also be an obvious advantage. Architectural or Construction related degrees are preferred but not mandatory if project management experience is extensive. Professional registration is preferred but not mandatory.
